Cameroon 2015

Total allocations: US$7,005,094

Rapid Response
In December 2015, the Emergency Relief Coordinator (ERC) allocated more than $7 million to support urgent humanitarian assistance to displaced people caused by Boko Haram-related violence. The on-going Boko Haram-related violence severely affects the dire humanitarian situation. The upsurge of Boko Haram-related violence across the Lake Chad Basin has uprooted hundreds of thousands of civilians from their homes, destroyed their livelihoods and deepened vulnerability. Cameroon is hosting 64,000 Nigerian refugees in its Far North region, who are the worst affected by the ongoing conflict. Tens of thousands of residents in the region have been forced to flee because of insecurity.

The tables below show actual disbursements and may not yet cover total allocated amounts.
