The Human Security Unit is hosting a series of regional workshops entitled “Applying the Human Security Approach in Project and Programme Development, Implementation and Monitoring”. Based on the “Human Security in Theory and Practice” handbook, the objective of the workshops is to provide UN programme managers and officers with in-depth understanding of the application of the human security approach and the main challenges faced in developing, implementing and monitoring human security projects by UN Country Teams.
