In the absence of emergencies, ROCCA produces Regional funding humanitarian updates that tracks humanitarian funding flows in and out of the Caucasus and Central Asia. When a small- to medium-scale emergency occurs, ROCCA produces Flash Update that captures key facts about the disaster, needs of the affected population, Government’s and partners’ response.
In response to sudden-onset large-scale emergencies, the Regional Office prepares daily Situation Reports that capture the overall scale of the disaster and needs, cluster response, funding of the emergency and gaps. Situation report is a key humanitarian product that helps coordinate cluster efforts, avoid duplication and fill in the gaps. Once the situation on the ground stops changing rapidly, most humanitarian partners are in place and helping people, the office transitions to Humanitarian Bulletins.
