Eligibility Process

NGOs that are interested in applying for funding through the Iraq Humanitarian Fund (IHF) must undergo the capacity assessment process. The main objective of the capacity assessment exercise is to ensure that OCHA Humanitarian Financing Unit (HFU) is equipped with the necessary information about potential partners to ensure they are acceptable to receive funding within the IHF accountability framework. 

To complete the eligibility process, the HFU conducts two capacity assessment exercises per year, usually one in June and one in December. The process is comprised of two inter-linked steps, capacity assessment and due diligence, each with its own review and feedback system to ensure transparency. The links below provide relevant guidance and forms necessary to proceed:
