The Humanitarian Coordinator (HC) oversees the governance and control of the envelope’s resources, develops and oversees the allocation strategy, provides oversight of partners and the country project portfolio and ensures partners meet reporting requirements.

Additionally, an HC-chaired Advisory Board is established to assist the HC in defining the strategic orientation for Fund usage, developing allocation strategies, and implementing risk management and performance monitoring. The Advisory Board includes representatives from donors, national NGOs, international NGOs and UN agencies as rotating members, along with the OCHA Haiti Head of Office and the Head of Office for OCHA’s Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean, who provide a regional perspective as permanent members.
