Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Week (HNPW)
The Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Week (HNPW), co-chaired by OCHA and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), provides a unique forum for humanitarian networks and partnerships to meet and address key humanitarian issues. One of the largest humanitarian events of its kind, it gathers participants from the UN, NGOs, Member States, the private sector, the military, academia and beyond to discuss and solve common challenges in humanitarian affairs. During the week, a number of networks and partnerships hold their annual meetings and consultations, share their expertise and collaborate on best practices to address shared problems.
Leading Edge Programme
The Leading Edge Programme (LEP) is a year-round collaborative platform for humanitarian expert networks and partnerships with the aim of developing sustainable solutions to recurring, cross-cutting issues in emergency preparedness and response. The LEP’s annual event is the Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Week (HNPW), held in Geneva since 2015.
HNPW will take place at the International Conference Centre (CICG) in Geneva, Switzerland, from 3 to 7 February 2020. More than 30 networks and partnerships will hold their annual meetings during the week. An Inter-Network Day on Wednesday, 5 February will offer participants from all backgrounds and sectors the opportunity to address a few selected priority topics of major concern across the sector.
