The Ethiopia Humanitarian Fund (EHF) allocated $7 million in November 2024 to support urgent humanitarian response in the contested areas. This followed Multisectoral Inter-Agency Rapid Assessments, after which the Humanitarian Country Team agreed that the operating environment in the contested areas was conducive for immediate scaled-up and sustained humanitarian operations and durable solutions.
