Mozambique: 2024 Humanitarian Response Dashboard - Natural disasters (As of December 2024)
KEY POINTS
According to the National Institute for Disaster Management (INGD), in the 2023/2024 season, an estimated 242,611 people were affected by natural disasters across Mozambique. Humanitarian partners targeted some 429,000 people across the entire country to mitigate the impact of the disasters.
A total of 46 humanitarian organizations are coordinating efforts, to provide aid to those in need.
At the end of December 2024, the natural disaster component of HNRP is 23 per cent funded, with approximately U$5.8 million received against $26 million required.
