North East Nigeria Rapid Response Mechanism Performance Monitoring Report (January 2025 to November 2025)
Overview
The Rapid Response Mechanism (RRM) was activated across 17 LGAs in Borno, Adamawa, and Yobe States between January and November 2025, supported by six rapid needs assessments to identify immediate humanitarian needs. The responses primarily addressed flooding and cholera outbreaks, which were the most frequently reported shocks during the period.
A total of 151,000 individuals were assisted by fourteen RRM implementing partners and lead agencies, reaching host communities, IDPs in camps, IDPs in host communities, and mixed populations.
Most assistance was delivered through WASH, SNFI, Nutrition, and MPCA interventions, with women and girls representing approximately 60% of all people reached. WASH remained the largest sector of response, while cashbased assistance and coverage in some LGAs continued to be limited, underscoring the need for more targeted support in underserved areas.
