Situation Overview
Between the start of the crisis on 7 October and 20 October, approximately 2,100 commercial trucks should have reached Gaza through the Rafah border crossing, but none did. Since the re-opening of Rafah border crossing for humanitarian cargo on 21 October, the daily average number of confirmed trucks that crossed through Rafah is less than 21 per cent what it used to be before the crisis.
