2020 has been a year like no other. COVID-19 is still affecting all aspects of our lives, but it has hit the most vulnerable people the hardest. Through the lens of our photojournalists and communication officers, we see some of the work and the multiple stories we have covered in more than 14 countries over the last 12 months.

This selection of photographs pays tribute to the strength and resilience of the people we serve: women, men, girls and boys caught in humanitarian crises. The pictures also highlight the incredible work of our humanitarian partners who are on the front lines, day in and day out, trying to make a difference.
